This site owes its direct origins to a collaboration that took place in 1993 between Walter Last (see Health-Science & Spirituality), a natural therapist and health issues author resident in Queensland, Australia and Chris Wheeler, editor and later president of the Soil & Health Association of New Zealand, a group associated with the international organic agricultural reform movement and the UK Soil Association of which Prince Charles is the most notable supporter.
The two eventually produced three editions of an information and resource guide to holistic cancer therapies available in the South Pacific, entitled The Self Help Cancer Cure Book. The last edition was published in 1997. Since then the Web has arrived, providing a huge resource which the present site is tapping into, expanding the knowledge base far beyond the original hard copy concept.

- The Politics of Cancer (following the thesis advanced by Dr Samuel Epstein in his book The Politics of Cancer Revisited, East Ridge Press, NY, 1998) - understanding, dealing with and reforming the politics and mindsets that lock the Cancer Establishment into its present limited range of therapies.
- Reforming, Closing down and/or Litigating against the industries – chemical, food processing & production, pharmaceutical, nuclear and electro-magnetic spectrum - and professionals largely responsible for the escalating cancer plague, using the Precautionary Principle presently being established in international law.
- Dietary, Agricultural & Lifestyle Reform – alerting ordinary citizens to the simple truth that in many cases "It's the food, Stupid!" You can't have a healthy body if you eat toxic food from a toxic earth. You can't have a healthy body with toxic thoughts and a toxic lifestyle
