Breast Cancer
In the 21st Century no one should consider breast cancer a “mystery”!
Breast cancer is supposed to be still largely a mystery, otherwise we'd have beaten it by now. Right? No, wrong! We – the ordinary public – know what causes breast cancer – or should do by now. Chris Wheeler, in an updated version of an investigation first published in 2002 by Australia’s Living Now magazine, examines the obvious causes plus a few that no one till now has suspected – bras and anti-perspirants. With suitable revision, much of the advice that follows can be applied to male prostate cancer and, indeed, cancer in general.
Introduction
Breast cancer is a scourge threatening more and more women at younger and younger ages, yet it is a scourge that the media throughout the Western world in general dumb down and gloss over without on the whole contributing a skerrick of useful information to the average woman on how they can do the only thing most women are vitally interested in doing – preventing breast cancer altogether.
Pesticides & Cancer
Since Walter Last and I put out the Self Help Cancer Cure Book in 1997 I have personally received letters and phone calls from all over New Zealand and Australia with accounts, many from concerned women in rural communities, about the scourge of cancers in their area, and breast cancer in particular.
Bras & Anti-perspirants
But it's a much more emotionally and culturally loaded line of research that I'd like to draw the attention of all women to – a line of research which I believe has been deliberately avoided by the media for reasons of corporate ownership. This is the role of the all pervasive brassiere and "female hygiene" products like deodorants and anti-perspirants in promoting cancer.
The Role of Omega fatty-acids
The journal Cancer Research introduces the topic: "Epidemiological, experimental, and mechanistic data implicate omega-6 fat as stimulators and long-chain omega-3 fats as inhibitors of development and progression of a range of human cancers, including melanoma."
The Role of Vitamin D
Finally, as a breaking piece of news on the breast cancer front and indeed as an essential item of news in fighting cancers of all sorts we need to emphasise the vital importance of Vitamin D and some of its derivatives in not only curing existing cancers, but in the vitally important issue of preventing cancer.
Conclusions
The further one examines the supposed "mystery" surrounding breast cancer causation, the further one recognises that many of the obvious answers to stopping cancer altogether have been staring us in the face for at least the past fifty years.
Chris Wheeler is a medical researcher based in New Zealand, currently updating the Self Help Cancer Cure Book, which he and Walter Last produced in 1997 for a South Pacific audience.
The coming 4th edition of this text is aimed directly at the Big Business/Cancer Establishment seat of the whole cancer problem and its causes and prevention.
This story is a much abbreviated summary of the approaching edition’s approach to breast and prostate cancer in particular.
